Community Café
Every Wednesday from 10am to 12 noon, our church hall is transformed into a warm, welcoming space where anyone and everyone is invited to drop in and feel at home. The Wednesday Café is more than just tea and toast - it's a place of friendship, connection, and community.

We serve free tea, coffee, toast, biscuits and cakes, and there's always someone ready with a smile and a listening ear. Whether you come on your own or with a friend, you will be warmly greeted. You can stay for ten minutes or the full two hours - whatever suits you best.

But the heart of Wednesday Café isn't the refreshment (good as they are!) - it's the people. in a world where so many feel isolated or rushed, the café is a place to pause, chat, laugh, and belong. Every week brings a different mix of conversations and connections.

And if you're feeling sharp, or just a bit curious, we always have a quiz at the ready; nothing too serious, just a bit of fun to get the brain going and spark some good-natured debate around the tables. Everyone is welcome, whatever your age or background. Whether you come for the tea, the toast, the quiz, or the company, we'd love to see you, because Community is made one cup at a time.

St Andrew's Church has a reputation for friendliness and warmth. We look forward to welcoming you to our services and social events. Please make a note in your diary of those that you find of interest. Tell us Of any events you want added to the Calendar and remember to check ahead for important dates.
